Pól has been part of the Sliderobes family working in the Belfast branch for just over 6 years as a sales designer, working with customers to solve their storage needs by creating beautiful bespoke furniture for their homes.
What is the best part of your job?
I like how no two days are ever the same. Each design appointment is different, every project is so different, and every house is different. I’m a very sociable person, so getting to meet new people is right up my street. Whether it's working with colleagues, meeting new customers or returning customers or working with the local craftspeople in the factory, its a fun and friendly environment to be in.
What does a typical day at Sliderobes look like?
Each day I generally visit customers in their homes, surveying and measuring their spaces, drawing and designing their new Sliderobes fitted furniture on 3D computer software and working with them making tweaks until they love their design. With each day being so different, it can be unpredictable and busy, but I love being able to be creative and coming up with new ideas for my customers and being able to solve a problem they might need for their homes.
What do you like to do away from work?
Anything sport related! I love golf, darts, football, rugby, hurling, you name it, I’ve at least given it a bash!
